About our client:
Page Personnel is currently recruiting a new team member to an international market leader within the energy industry. On behalf of this client we are searching for a highly committed and energetic Accountant on a Nordic level. The position will be in Stockholm City and is a temporary position for a minimum of 6 months. Candidates must possess a good knowledge of finance & accounting and enjoy working in a challenging international environment.
Description:
- Support the Accounting Lead for one of the Nordic countries as an Accountant but also participate in specific Nordic Financial Control processes
- Ensure that business assets and G/L accounting activities have functional integrity, proper controls and are well managed
- Group accounting and reporting, annual reports, compliance, accounts payable, tax and VAT.
- Maintain an efficient accounting system and processes to produce accurate, timely financial data
- Identify new accounting standards applicable to the business and develop appropriate implementation strategy
- Local statutory filing requirements and other legal required reporting
- Participate in the month end closing process
Candidate profile:
In order to be successful in this Accounting position, you are required to have a:
- University degree in business administration preferably within accounting and/or finance
- Minimum of 1-2 year's experience of accounting, preferably from a large company
- Power of initiative, flexible, self-confident with a good drive.
- You are a team player who are used to take on responsibility, to work proactively and have a high stress level
- Trustworthy candidate with high integrity and a flexible mind.
- Strong skills in MS Excel are required and preferably experience from Business Objects
- Excellent English and Swedish language skills in both speaking and writing
