ACCOUNTANT FOR A FAST GROWING INTERNATIONAL COMPANY   (M/F)

About our client:
Our client is an international fast growing digital media company with head quarters in central Stockholm. On behalf of our client we are searching for an Accountant to be based in Stockholm City. The candidate must possess a good knowledge of accounting & finance and enjoy working in a challenging, fast paced and international environment. The position reports directly to the Accounting Manager.

Description:
As an Accountant you will have the opportunity to hold the following main responsibilities:
- Ensure that business assets and G/L accounting activities have functional integrity, proper controls and are well managed
- Closing processes, compliance, legal reporting and group reporting, accounts payable, tax, VAT
- Reconciliations of accounts
- Maintain an efficient accounting system and processes to produce accurate, timely financial data
- Responsible for integrity of business accounting policies and procedures compliance (e.g account reconciliations, VAT submissions, tax returns, revenue recognition, accruals, financial policies etc.)
- Review and streamline accounting process to ensure and improve operation efficiency
- Part of the monthly close process & data submissions to the Group Accounting Manager
- Ad hoc investigations
- Statutory and group accounting for the country

Candidate profile:
In order to be successful in this position, you must compile with the following requirements:

- Minimum 2 years of relevant experience
- Experience in reporting
- Compliance awareness
- Experience within auditing/accounting including experience from a multi-national environment
- Result oriented, highly motivated
- High & unyielding integrity with a future leadership record
- Analytical and critical thinker
- Be able to work independently and under pressure to meet deadlines
- A team player, proactive, able to communicate effectively within all levels
- Fluent English communication capability, hands-on experiences of PC operation
- High energy level
- "To do" attitude
