Beckman Coulter Sweden was founded in 1979 with direct sales in Sweden operating through distributors in Finland, Norway and Denmark. The Nordic head office is located in Bromma with a country office in Helsinki and one planned for Copenhagen.
On behalf of our client we are now searching for a Financial Analyst to be placed in Bromma, reporting to the Nordic Financial Controller.
Description:
- Provide analytical and decision support to management
- Developing, interpreting and implementing financial concepts for financial planning, analysis and control, including budgeting, forecasting and reporting
- Provide analytical support for major business decisions, and perform financial research and in the areas of rate return, working capital requirements, investment opportunities, investment performance, and currency exposure, economic and political risk
- Support management with financial accounting by interpreting and maintaining general accounting systems for a Nordic Region subsidiary
- Prepare journal entries, maintaining and reconcile ledger accounts; provides records of assets, liabilities and other financial transactions; balances books periodically; prepares government filings and ensure proper information is maintained for historical purposes
Candidate profile:
- University graduate with degree in Economics, Accounting or Finance
- At least 2 years experience within audit, preferably from Big 4
- Knowledge of US GAAP and/or IFRS
- Driven, analytical and ability to communicate at different levels
- Self sufficient, proactive, autonomous and able to communicate effective with all levels of the organisation
- Fluent in Swedish and English, both written and spoken (Finish and Danish is a plus)
