On behalf or our client we are searching for a highly committed and energetic Accountant on Nordic level. The position will be based in the Nordic Head Office in Stockholm City and is a temporary position for approx. 14 month. Candidates must possess a good knowledge of finance & accounting and enjoy working in a challenging international environment.

Description:
- Support the Accounting Lead for one of the Nordic countries as an Accountant but also participate and lead specific Nordic Financial Control processes.
- Ensure that business assets and G/L accounting activities have functional integrity, proper controls and are well managed.
- Legal as well as group accounting and reporting, annual reports, compliance, accounts payable, tax and VAT.
- Maintain an efficient accounting system and processes to produce accurate, timely financial data.
- Identify new accounting standards applicable to the business and develop appropriate implementation strategy.
- Local statutory filing requirements and other legal required reporting.
- Participate in the month end closing process.

Candidate profile:
- University degree in business administration preferably within accounting and/or finance.
- Minimum of 1-2 year's experience of accounting, preferably from a large international company.
- Power of initiative, flexible, self-confident with a good drive.
- You are a team player who are used to take on responsibility, to work proactively and have a high stress level.
- Trustworthy candidate with high integrity and a flexible mind.
- Strong skills in MS Excel are required and preferably experience from Business Objects.
- Excellent English and Swedish language skills in both speaking and writing.
